Default Can't connect to all sites on shared internet.

I have a WinXP home with sp2, and a Win98se computer. The computers are on a
network that works fine. They can see each other, and use each other's
shares. The WinXP computer has a dial-up connection with ICS enabled. The
win98se computer can reach some sites, but not most. I think that it might be
the DNS setup. I cannot access MSN Search, Microsoft.com, or Windows Update
from the Win98 computer. Is there something wrong with my setup.

Check the Win98 Hosts file. If it has entries for the unreachable
sites, remove them. To edit the file, enter this command in the Start
| Run box, making sure to include the "." at the end of the command:

notepad C:\Windows\Hosts.

If that doesn't solve the problem, it might be an MTU problem,
although that usually only happens with shared DSL connections that
use PPPoE. To see, find the right MTU setting on Win98, as shown
he

http://www.annoyances.org/exec/show/article04-107

and then make the MTU setting manually on Win98, or use
DrTCP to make it:
