Mike, Unable to Hibernate- Post 2-20-05

Mike, I Thank you so much for your help. (Thank you doesn't even come
close.)
This was something that I really wanted to do. I was extremely frustrated
in all of my attempts and also by what seemed to be my inability to get an
definitive answer on how to solve this problem. Your post really nailed my
problem down.
I called Microsoft, (there was no charge for the support) and received the
hotfix. It worked like a charm!
I am a happy camper now. Much appreciated.
Thanks a mil.

Now that is good news twice over. First because you've solved the problem
and second that you had no problem in obtaining the patch without charge
from Microsoft (which is as it should be).

I'm sorry however that I forgot all about the problems with hibernation
when a PC has more than a 192MB of RAM and didn't mention this as a
possible cause of the problem when you first posted and instead kept
saying to try and find the file nohiber.txt.

Regards and thanks for the feedback.
