Default partition for virtual memory

Hello
I've made a partition of 1Go on a disk of 40 Go with a view to using it for
the virtual memory. This partition is G:
I have a disk with C: E: and F:
and a disk with D: and G:

When I go to the set up panel - performance - memory, the list of disks
shows G: as having 0 Mo free space.

I can write files to it and explorer says there is 1 Go feee space.

I've scanned it and reformatted it but no change.
Any ideas
cpmac
