Default HARD DRIVE ICON

I have a second hard drive installed on my PC, but
whenever it is displayed it appears with the same icon as
my CDR. I know this is pure cosmetic but it does get
confusing some time when in a hurry. Is there a way to
change the icon so it can be properly reflected. I have
tried to do so like any other icon but to no avail.
Properties will not allow it. Thank You

Default HARD DRIVE ICON

See if there is an autorun.inf file on your hard drive and, if so, delete
it.

Thanks for your response Ron B. I followed your advice
and found 4 autorun.inf on my hard drive. Not sure which
one to delete. Two are on programs file for cdr software,
1 on the temp for internet service & last is on C: CABS.
I opened them & to any difference but found none. Maybe
all or is there a specific one. Once again Thank You !

Default HARD DRIVE ICON

If an autorun.inf is being used for a drive icon, then it is in the
root folder of the drive concerned but you don't appear to mention
that one.
If it is there, open it in Notepad and you should see the specified
icon.
