Default Disk Boot Failure?

When I boot WinME sometimes, I get a error msg "Disk Boot
Failure, Insert System Disk and Press Enter..." What is
this all about? I have to hit Alt-Ctrl-Delete to
proceed. I do not have a boot disk either, that I know
of. Thanks...

If you didn't have a boot disk - either a hard drive or a floppy - then you
couldn't boot the computer. Your comments indicate you don't have a clue
about computers and you better ask a live person in your neighborhood for
help because it sounds like your hard drive is going bad.

This generally means that the hard drive is failing and needs to be replaced
before it won't start up at all and you lose everything on it.
