Default Need drivers for printers

I have reinstalled Windows Me and need to find drivers for my printers, a
Lexmark X5150 and an HP 932c. I have tried the manufacturers' sites and a
couple of free driver download sites, without success. Any suggestions (other
than upgrading my Windows)?

What about the disk(s) that came with the printers? Can you find them as
they should contain the drivers you need.

It would make life much simpler if I had the disks, but they are not
available. (The computer belongs to a daughter who was about 12 years old
when she got it--enough said?).

Lee,

As you have discovered both HP and Lexmark no longer have drivers for Win
9x operating systems such as Win Me available for download, the reason
being that these operating systems are no longer supported by Microsoft.

Have a look at http://www.printer-drivers.com/, hopefully you'll find
something there.

Lexmark X5150 - No Win Me drivers but I can see several for Win98 one of
which will hopefully do the trick.
HP 932c - Again no Win Me drivers but a couple for Win 98.

Mike,

No luck on the Lexmark. I have found a driver for the Deskjet; it is for a
parallel connection, not applicable for USB, so I will have to rummage around
for a good old parallel cable. As long as the printer is back on line, I'll
be happy!

Thanks for your suggestions.
