Default Screen Prob

Hi..
Have a Hewlett Packard Omnibook XE2.(second hand)... the desktop has a
large black border round and is also stuck in 16 bit colour mode. (no option
to change in settings)... does anybody Know how to fix please?

Ask HP tech support. Did you get a manual with it? If not, HP may have a
downloadable version on their web site.

You need to drivers for the graphics card. The black corner around the
screen is due to a lower resolution set. As of now you would be unable to
increase it unless a compatible graphics driver is installed.

what's your exact model number from these:

If you have diffculty let me know the serial number, i will find it for you.
