Connecting a Win98SE laptop to wireless through an XP laptop?
Can this be done? We live next door to my inlaws and pay half for broadband through their phoneline (they pay half and use it aswell...)
As i have XP and a 98SE laptops, is there any way of getting the 98SE machine to connect via the XP machine? The SE doesn't have wireless and the PMCIA port doesn't work on it, so was thinking somehow using an LAN cable to connect the 2? If its any help, the 98SE is a Compaq Armada M700 and the XP is a Toshiba Satellite SA30 using a USB wireless adapter Only reason for this is so the wife and i can use net at the same time...she gets impatient with me on it all the time! Any help = much appreciation! |
