Default Shadows

I have shadows going across my screen. For example, if i
open up a picture either side of it a shadow line goes
across the screen. I have run an anti virus check and also
ran Ad Aware. But it is still there. I thought it may have
been my monitor about to die on me so went and bought a
new one. But the shadows are stil there. Any suggestions?

The usual procedure on troubleshooting video issues is to swap out the
monitor and the vidoecard to verify if either of them is the problem. You
did one - now try the other.

Begin by determing if your video is provided by an on-board video chip or a
separate video card.
If you don't know anything about this, get expert advice.

You may consider reinstalling the video drivers, too. Find a good copy of
the drivers before beginning.
