How to boot to DOS
On Fri, 14 May 2004 08:57:34 +0100, "Mart"
....... Is there a way to boot to DOS from the advanced menu options? No!! - This 'feature' is by design in WinMe. You must boot using the WinMe Startup (floppy) Disk to boot into Real Mode DOS. See "Overview of Real Mode Removal from Windows Millennium Edition" http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;269524 See also http://cquirke.mvps.org/9x/me-dos.htm about various ways to retro-fit this functionality ;-) --------------- ----- ---- --- -- - - - Hello DOS mode my old friend I've come to hack with you again --------------- ----- ---- --- -- - - - |
