Default Printing from 98SE to XP home shared printer

My wife's laptop is running 98SE. We have set up an XP home computer for the
kids and it has our only printer. I am able to print to it from 2003 Server,
but not from the laptop. Here are some things I have tried after reviewing
ideas on MS KB, Google and Lexmark:

1. Ensure the 98 driver is loaded on the XP machine.
2. Capture the port to LPT2.
3. Test the printer connected directly to the laptop - it works.
4. Remove and reinstall drivers. (done on both XP and 98).

Any other ideas?

OK - I kept playing with it and made the following changes - and it worked:

1. Deleted drivers on both machines.
2. Changed print processor to "RAW" on the 98 machine.
