ME Install

I plan on formatting and re-installing windows ME. Before formatting, I am
going to use the utility Kill Disk to erase the hard drive. Does windows ME
require using a hard drive partition using fdisk or can I just install ME??
My hard drive is only 4 gig so I do not want to partition unless it is
needed.

Tom,

All hard disks need to be partitioned before use even if only to be used
with a single partition therefore yes, it is essential that the disk be
partitioned using a tool such as fdisk. If however the drive is already
partitioned and you don't wish to alter the size and number of those
partitions then all that is required is to format the disk before
installing your operating system.
