From the alert notice of the Firewall, a program named
mprexe.exe frequently wants to go out to DNS in the
background. Through searching, it is found in all the
computers in the same workgroup. Searching it in the
microsoft.com database, the result tells that mprexe is
relating with password issue and is part of the window.
But, the search in symantec tells that it is a virus.
What is it?

What does you AV application say about the file on _your_ system? Where is
the file located? Whilst Win Me contains and uses a file mprexe.exe this file
is located in the windows\system folder whereas the Backdoor.Niklaus trojan,
which uses a file of the same name, places the file in the windows folder.

Thanks a lot. I'll check it out.
By the way, Win95 & Win 98 are also located in the same
workgroup and found mprexe.exe. Would they contains and
uses mprexe.exe?
