64 + 64 + 64 megs of ram????
64 + 64 =64 what’s up???
Recently I tried to install a wireless adapter card software on my old ibm thinkpad, windows 98se. I got the not enough memory message, close applications da da da!!! I had no applications running and plenty of memory according to requirements for the software (64 megs of ram) I decided to install more memory anyway to see if that would work. So I opened up my laptop and two 64 meg modules are living there. I swapped them back and forth, and installed one at a time leaving one out. And in the system properties it still shows only 64 megs of ram no matter what. I am quite show the modules are ok. That’s my guess. So any ideas how I can make the two modules work would be great. Can’t see adding more memory if I can’t get what I have to work. I am confused help me. thanks -- Dennis |
