Default Temp Folder Loss.

For sometime I have used one or the other of delindex.bat
or a cleanme.bat with no problem. Now I do have a problem
in that the c:\windows\temp is not being re-created.

The first evidence of it came as acro.tmp files and an
adobe folder appeared on my desktop and SBLV began
putting .tmp files in its Recordings folder. This after I
had used both programmes.

MSCONFIG reported "Unable to synchronize the environmental
variables in the Windows Registry with the environmental
variables in the legacy files AUTOEXEC.BAT and/or
CONFIG.SYS.

Here are the autoexec.bat entries as they were whilst I had
the problem:

SET BLASTER=A220 I7 D1 H5 P330 T6
SET CTSYN=C:\WINDOWS
C:\PROGRA~1\CREATIVE\SBLIVE\DOSDRV\SBEINIT.COM
SET windir=C:\WINDOWS
SET winbootdir=C:\WINDOWS
SET COMSPEC=C:\WINDOWS\COMMAND.COM
SET PATH=C:\WINDOWS;C:\WINDOWS\COMMAND
SET PROMPT=$p$g
SET TEMP=C:\WINDOWS\TEMP
SET TMP=C:\WINDOWS\TEMP

and here are my present values after I created a TEMP
folder in Windows.

SET BLASTER=A220 I7 D1 H5 P330 T6
SET CTSYN=C:\WINDOWS
SET windir=C:\WINDOWS
SET winbootdir=C:\WINDOWS
SET COMSPEC=C:\WINDOWS\COMMAND.COM
SET PATH=C:\WINDOWS;C:\WINDOWS\COMMAND
SET PROMPT=$p$g
SET TEMP=C:\WINDOWS\TEMP
SET TMP=C:\WINDOWS\TEMP

I am not sure from where to retrieve the Registry values.

If I use the c:\windows\ deltree temp command I
still 'permanently' lose the temp folder.

Please ask for any other relevant information.

Thank you.

Ben.
