Default What is c:\~?

This file, which has just appeared today, is 173KB in size.
It seems, after various scans (Avast4.5, AVG7free, Ad-awareSE and Spybot
SD), to be benign.
What is it?
TIA
Rolu

It's a cockup by MS (bug in one of the updates) and is a backup/copy of your
WAB (Windows Address Book)......

Thanks Steven.
PS I do like your Index.dat Suite.
Had trouble with the installation as Mscomctl.ocx? was reported to be in use
by another application.
Solved by installing in safe mode.
Thanks for a nice piece of software.
