Default Two questions

I'd like to reformat an empty hard drive into two partitions.
Can someone give me some advice on that - or a URL to go to or.......?

I'd also like to copy one hard drive on one PC to a hard drive on another PC
but I forgot how.
I've used LapLink years ago but I no longer have it.
Isn't there a way in W98SE to do that?
And don't you connect the two LPT1 ports?

Thanks,
Doug

You can't do this with FORMAT. FDISK is the partitioning tool. FDISK cannot
change partitions - it can only create new ones, so to use FDISK you would
delete everything and start over. Partition Magic and BootitNG are two
utilities that can change existing partitioning (there are others).

To copy between PCs, look up Direct Cable Connect in Widows help. You can
also temporarily install one hard drive in the other machine to do the copy.
