How necessary is VRTWD.386?
I have discovered via Step-by-Step booting that VRTWD.386 has been
causing my system to hang at "Starting Windows 98..." I understand it's for the real time clock. However, things seem fine without it. I did extract a copy from the CD and it made no difference at all. Do I, or should I, really need it? I would appreciate any thoughts/opinions/ideas. Thanking all in advance, Wayne R. |

Apparently it's safe to disable it for troubleshooting.
