keyboard arrows make games hang
after re-install I can't get even the simplest games to
work. Whenever I use the arrows to make an item move the item will move one space then stop until I release the key and press it again. Again moving one space. please help this is my kids computer and I don't want to put the games on mine.

I tried the restore disk from gateway but it wiped out my OS then stopped working.
