Default Registry settings to detect DHCP and DNS configuration

Does anyone know the registry paths to determine if DHCP is enabled on
a Windows 9x box, and check the DNS configuration settings?

Is there also a way to check the DNS configuration history on a Win 9x
box? - Thank you.
