can't install os
I still can't install an os. I still get the message
that this computer doesn't have enough extended memory. I have tried the suggestion that Bill gave but it didn't work. I would really appreciate some help on this matter. |

If you can get to the C:\ prompt either with or without the startup diskette then enter MEM /C from Dos, does it show ALL your memory? Using the computer you are posting with, put in the W98 CD and browse to:
tools/mtsutil/fat32ebd Double click the Fat32ebd.exe file and follow the on screen prompts to make a new startup disk. It won't let me browse the cd. It just keeps telling me
to reinsert the cd.
