1024 MB Ram (1 GB)
Hello,
I was wondering if it was possible to have 1024 MB Ram (and use it to its fullest extent) on a Windows 98 SE OS. I have read where to edit the system.ini file to change it to like 512 to make it only use 512 (VCache) or use MSConfig. I was wondering though if there was a patch or a fix where you can stop the "unable to access 0x0000000" or Out of Memory errors while using all the 1024 MB Ram in applications. |

1024 MB Ram (1 GB)
Adding the line MaxFileCache=512000 (under the [vache] header in System.ini)
doesn't limit the amt of memory that Win98 can use in applications. Perhaps you are confusing that line with another that limits the amt of memory that Win98 can use. Badour's links address those issues. "Jim" wrote in message ... Hello, I was wondering if it was possible to have 1024 MB Ram (and use it to its fullest extent) on a Windows 98 SE OS.
