E-Trust Firewall/Antivirus Att: Gary Terhune
Gary, I am probably going to buy this suite with the full deluxe version for
$12.45. Would I be allowed to put this software on both 98SE and XPPRO of my dual-boot or do I need to buy two seperate versions? Thanks in advance for all of your help and advice. You are certainly setting me on the straight, narrow path in the world of computers. |

I'm not Gary but this is what I would do. Have a common partition (fat32)
for the installation of programs that will be used with both systems. Then install the program into the same folder so as to preserve drive space. -- Regards Ron Badour, MS MVP Windows 98 Tips: http://home.satx.rr.com/badour Knowledge Base Info: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?pr=kbinfo "Dan" wrote in message ... I can't answer as to the legality of installing to both OSes using the
same license, Dan. I don't know. If you want the answer on that, you'll need to ask Computer Associates. As for Ron's suggestion, I, personally, am not in favor of using a common applications folder for both OSes. It often leads to potentially confusing situations. I like to keep the systems totally separate. -- Gary S. Terhune MS MVP Shell/User "Dan" wrote in message ... Gary, I am probably going to buy this suite with the full deluxe version for $12.45. Thanks, Gary. I also like to keep both systems separate. I will ask
Computer Associates, like you suggest. "Gary S. Terhune" wrote in message ... : I can't answer as to the legality of installing to both OSes using the : same license, Dan. I don't know.
