This is totally non-specific to any MS product. However, you must begin by
entering the bios setup and enabling sound, enabling its irq and
corresponding dma. Then install the software in windows to support the
sound chip onboard the motherboard. Then reboot. It might help to connect
the speakers or amplifier to the proper jacks on the back of the motherboard
too. The details are usually provided in the motherboard documentation,
whether written or in file format in the supporting CD for the motherboard.
