How do you set 98 SE to boot from CD?
Hi,
I am looking to upgrade to Windows XP. It would be easier if my system could boot from the CD, where it would pick up the XP install disk. I have upgraded my BIOS, so I think this is possible. But how do I set it up? Regards M. |

Watch the boot screen for the key to press to enter setup (BIOS). Once in
the BIOS, there are directions for navigating which vary from BIOS to BIOS. Look for a Boot section and make the CDRom drive the first boot device. Save the change and exit. -- Regards Ron Badour, MS MVP for W98 Tips: http://home.satx.rr.com/badour Knowledge Base Info: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?pr=kbinfo "Mark" wrote in message ...
