Blank Screen

Hi there, was just wondering if anybody could help me.
When i go online there are lots of web pages i am unable
to view. For example the hotmail home page to view my e-
mails. All i get is a blank white screen with "done" in
the bar along the bottom. I have tried numerous things but
just cant seem to view certain pages. This affects around
70% of web pages for me and as you can imagine is very
annoying. I have now absolutly no idea as to how i can
solve this.

If there is anyone at all who reads this and knows how to
resolve my problem PLEASE PLEASE either e-mail me with any
help, or post here for me to view. I'd be most grateful as
this is really
annoying.

James - this is sometimes caused by the presence of a HOSTS file.
do a Search on your PC for files named HOSTS (no extension) and rename any
found to HOSTS.JNK
see if that helps.

Hi there

I tried that, and there were 2 hosts files, i changed both
there extensions to jnk, as both never had one previously,
howver my problem is still the same? I appreciate your
response, any other ideas as to what else may be causing
this?
