Default p2p cable connection

In p2p network, connection between to computer are cross cable or ????

You can use a crossover cable if you only have a two computer network.

However, I would strongly recommend a hub or switch and use straight network
cables.

Furthermore, if you have a broadband connection, I would recommend a
router/switch
