Drive letters
I'm running Windows 98SE. How do I get rid of a drive letter that is not
being used? I've uninstalled and deleted the software that put it there, but the drive letter did not go away. |

What does the drive letter represent? For instance, is it a partition on
your had drive, a compressed volume, a device such as a ramstick, or something else? -- Jeff Richards MS MVP (Windows - Shell/User) "Edna Christenson" Edna wrote in message ... It turned out to be the "Photo Capture" feature from my printer. It's a
long story, but it boils down to my not understanding my printer. It's a Brother MFC210C, multiuse printer. The letter didn't show up (or I didn't notice it) until I had installed the wrong drivers for a new TravelDrive. Anyway, I don't want to get rid of it now, I found out I need it. Thanks for responding so quickly to my question. "Jeff Richards" wrote: What does the drive letter represent?
