Please post the *exact* error message(s) and what was going on when it/they
appeared. If there is a details button, click it and post that message verbatim--the registers are not required. More details on the message and what you are trying and what the PC is doing. Any error messages? -- Regards Ron Badour, MS MVP for W98 Tips: http://home.satx.rr.com/badour Knowledge Base Info: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?pr=kbinfo "J" wrote in message ... Hi
Thanks for responding...the exact message when I first turn on the computer is *SYMKRNLL(error 1)*. It's in a little box and when I click it, it says really fast something about Log C drive and then another box comes up and it says this program has performed an illegal function and then it shuts it down, but then after the computer logs on and I am on the Icon page, it comes up again and I have to click on it and it says the same thing. There isn't a details page though. Is this enough info? -----Original Message----- Please post the *exact* error message(s) and what was going on when it/they appeared.
