What is the best way to recover missing .DLL's when you no longer have the
Mfg's CD for Windows 98?

A search engine for the specific DLL name often turns up a place where you
can download the DLL and the site that you download it from will often
either have the download compressed and configured to place it in the
correct directory or will tell you where you need to put it in order for it
to work.

.....attributed *to* Sherlock, a bachelor, and a fiction, and therefor
plausible, even credible in expressing ambitions and hope; contrived *in*
the imagination of Sir Arthur, who was, on the other hand, married.

Here's an interesting site should you ever get bored:

I almost always use a Doyle quote (usually Sherlock) as my signature. Makes
things interesting
