Neither have I....I am just pointing out where the other poster is referring. :-)

Yes on the volumes tab there are usually more than 1 session, but when I select another session on the list and apply it makes no difference. I have never had to do this before though! Terry |

You click to continue the multisession, click New, it reads the disc and updates the
files as you have it set to do, and then the file manager appears, with two panes, correct? The left pane shows the files on the CD and the right pane shows your hard drive(s)? I am asking because I use Nero 5.5 and I am not sure if there were changes in the format of Nero 6.x Where are the red X's....in the file manager for the CD, or for the hard drive? Do you get the same behaviour if you change the settings so that instead of: Refresh compilation automatically (without asking) and Add new files to compilation, you set it so that it does not refresh automatically, and then manually add files? For the uninstall problem, see if any of the Nero Cleaning tools can help: http://www.ahead.de/en/631938356101755.html -- Glen Ventura, MS MVP Shell/User, A+ http://dts-l.org/goodpost.htm "Terry" wrote in message ... The red x's appear when I continue multisseion and the full menu shows the disc tree....and if I expand a folder to expose a file... then that file shows a red x instead of the normal icon. I have since uninstalled nero ...re-installed an earlier version (5++), but still the same so I have gone back to my newest v6++....still the same!!!!!!!!!!! I am unable to rid Nero Burning Rom from my Add/Remove list via ctrl panel...it cannot find the cd .msi file I used to install with and I am unable to locate that file. I used Regedit to rid what was left after unistalling nero (ahead), but that above name still exists in Add/Remove list.!! Still unable to read my latest backup fully..the last burn does not show, but ISO buster sees it ok!! Sory to trouble you guys, but nearly all my many backup CD were burnt using Nero, which I prefer to others I tried. It may be something basic in the end but I am so frustrated with it as I do often backups of my data etc. Terry |

There are no Nero 6 cleaners there, IIRC, but one of the other cleaners may be
helpful. -- Glen Ventura, MS MVP Shell/User, A+ http://dts-l.org/goodpost.htm "Terry" wrote in message ... Thanks...will now have a good look at Nero clean tools per address supplied. Terry |
