A search with Google for mfc71.dll has several places to download the file. For some reason I don't trust the first site on the list. I tried the dll.file site before but not clear after clicking the executable, doesn't look like much happened and still have the problem. The biggest problem is with my digital camrea transferring images and opening up the Nikon Software, just won't work because of the corrupt file. tks bill |

That may replace the file with a good one. Regards, Bill Watt Computer Help and Information http://home.epix.net/~bwatt/ |

Put the file in the Windows\System folder and then do this: To register a file in the registry: 1.Click Start, then click Run. Type REGSVR32 mfc71.dll and then click OK. You will see a message that indicates if the file has successfully registered. Click OK. 2.Restart the computer. To see the switches enter REGSVR32 from a Dos prompt or Start Run. This URL may still be there. http://www.faqts.com/knowledge_base/.../25335/fid/772 Regards, Bill Watt Computer Help and Information http://home.epix.net/~bwatt/ |
