It's good to have someone look out for "our" interests.
Thank you Alias and Zee (?).

Harry.

So, what do you think about IE7?

Many improvements that will be of benefit to a vast amount of
surfers that use IE. Too much to list here really.
Take the plunge, you won't regret it, have it running on two machines.

Judging from the problems on the IE newsgroup, I am going to wait until
I install XP Pro English on my test machine and try it there. I can't
afford to take a chance with my production machine.

I agree, Alias......I had a look at a few of the XP news groups with
regard to this and sure didn't see any positive outlooks. I will stick
with Firefox and maybe take a look at IE7 way down the road when the
bugs are ironed out.

Cheers....Figgs

I thought you had been around long enough to know by now that only those
having problems post to the newsgroups seeking help and not those
experiencing none. I've been running IE7 on XP on at last one machine
since July 2005 when IE7 beta 1 was released and have not experienced
problems or rather not with the later builds. I take that back, just one
of any significance and that is that for some odd reason I cannot access
the web interface on my router (Thomson SpeedTouch 585i v6) using IE7
unless I remove the password. This is due to an authentication problem
that Thomson are fixing with their next firmware release.

You mention lack of positive feedback. Well this is just that and I can
honestly think of no good reason why any person using XP should not be
using IE7 today. Certainly it has a few quirks and there is one feature I
find annoying but IE7 is without doubt far superior to IE6.

Let's be different and start a positive thread..??

I'm running IE7 and FF2 and honestly love them both.

No issues, no glitches so far, both are a very nice and IE7 is a big step
forward.

Thumbs up!

Zee
