Almost certainly due to a hardware conflict. The fact that you have 5 IOS
enumerators [IOS(5)] suggests that maybe you've been trying to
install/re-install a piece of hardware (Sound Card?) without great success.

Take a look in Device Manager - in Safe Mode - for multiple occurrences of
devices and/or yellow exclamation marks and 'Remove' them all. Reboot and
see if things improve. (If necessary, throw-off any Non-Essential external
items of hardware first, e.g. USB devices - just keep to the mouse and
monitor, 'til you've isolated it)

Good luck

Mart,

Thanks for the reply. After much testing and "System Restoring" I have
found the problem is triggered by the use of SpyWareBlaster 3.2. I
have used this program in over 100 PC without a problem and in this PC
it has been working for over a month. However, after updating, and
using it (I there were more than 45 new items to be protected from) I
found it would cause the error on reboot. It did not cause the problem
immediately after use, just on reboot. After that I had to use system
restore to fix it and get the system back up and running. I hate to
lose the use of Spywareblaster and if you or anyone else has any
idea's on why it would all of a sudden be causing this problem I would
be greatly appreciative if you would let me know.

Perhaps Potsie has access to the machine?
