Yes I know nut one of the earlier posters did not and suggested deleting the
swap file as a way to flush cached data to the disk.

In RAM. vcache is the Windows 95/98/Me replacement/enhancement for

You are correct. I thought the OP meant his swap file because many
people refer to Virtual Memory improperly as vcache and they see
that their winswp.386 file is really large and they want to save disk
space. Or, they get the running low on memory warnings etc
(resources really) and want to know how to 'flush' or empty it.
My error was in assuming the OP was mistaken in his reference, when in
fact, it was I that was mistaken.
