Default Cannot find crystal chip

The "cannot find chrystal chip".... error seems to refer to your soundcard
and probably refers to its DOS mode function.
You will probably have to look up your sound card online and read the
instructions on how to set it up to be used in DOS mode.
The MDAC error:
This link explains what MDAC does and maybe it will help:

The above link may line wrap and not work properly.

I upgraded from windows 98 to windows 98se and before just
as it was finishing this came up..."Set MS_MDAC_LOGALE to
a file name to log actions(File must exist)." I have no
idea what this means. Also when my computer boots up it
says "cannot find chrystal chip"....which I also do not
know what it means. Anyone that can help me out would be
very appreciated. Also some files says that "program.exe"
is needed for opening it, and is not there? Thanks to
anyone that has a solution, besides a ball-pean hammer on
it.
