Default missing files and managing start-up

The system is not looking in the right place for the files. Click the
browse button and browse to the Win98 folder on your CD.

OK,
This is weird...first of all..i bought and installed the
max amount of memory..thats just FYI. Now, I purchased a
webcam and proceeded to download the software....it
started to tell me to put in my 98SE disk so it could
retrieve certain files from it...it then tells me that it
cannot find the files. I started to write them down after
the third time of starting all over and restarting. I
stoped at 50! for
example....dll...networks...protocol...services..3 86..and
sam. i have no idea how to replace these files or to
patch it.
and in a related topic? my start up is too crowded.....how
do i revise the menu?
Thank you in advance and PLEASE help me! im goin nuts!

sincerely Mike
