Default Oh a tree in motion!

What gets me is that Helen Shapiro! 'Walking Back to Happiness' starts off
great, then turns into something by a middle-aged male Jewish wide boy -
say, Michael Winner. Oyvay! She obviously had a lovely singing voice but was
managed by someone only interested in the width. And Smokey Robinson's
'Tracks of my Tears' appeared to be an attempt to sell 'Tears of a Clown'
twice? I remember hearing 'Tears of a Clown' on the car radio as a kid,
almost the first pop song I wanted to hear again. Though I pictured Smokey
as an aging lady, sort of like a music industry version of Norma Desmond
(one of the earliest movies I enjoyed that wasn't a cartoon or a Dick Van
Bloke vehicle). 'Leaving on a Jet Plane' - by Peter, Paul and Mary - was
another one. One of those that worried grown-ups as they began to think
maybe this kid had a more adult taste in music than they did. Ah but I was
young, gifted and black! What evr happened to Marcia?

Microsoft would certainly get a bit more of my respect if they included
these songs with WMP rather than the crepe they do.
