Invalid System Disk on Fresh Install
I formatted my hard Drive and did a fresh install of Millenium.
I switched the harddrive to a new machine, disconnected 1 or 2 cd drives, took out the sound drivers and lan and modem, just so that I have the basics inside the tower. I am using 256 ram, pc 100, a floppy and 1 cd drive Now when I go to boot my system, it reads INVALID SYSTEM DISK - REPLACE THE DISK, then press any key. There is nothing but WINDOWS ME on the harddrive. The floppy doesn't boot it. The CD doesn't boot it. The hard drive doesn't boot. What is wrong? This HARDDRIVE works fine in my other computer. It boots great. everything opens. But when I insert it back in the tower I want, I always get the message INVALD SYSTEM DISK. I've used the ME boot disk, I've used the CD and it still does not boot. Pressing any key still gets me the same message. |
