Default kernel32.dll

I keep getting a message telling me that "kernel32.dll.2 is trying to
connect to "224.0.0.2".
Will it be safe for me to allow it to connect or should i check the box
which will remember not to allow it to connect?
Thanks in advance for any help, greatly appreciated.
John

kernel32.dll does not often dial out on its own, however it is a general
purpose dll that can be co-opted by other applications. kernel32.exe is a
virus that reports itself as kernel32.dll. A full antivirus andtispyware
scan is a very good start
