IOS(05) suggests that you appear to have had some 5 (unsuccessful?) attempts
to install IOS.VXD (Virtual Device Driver) for some reason. New HDD's etc??

When in Safe Mode take a look in Device Manager and Remove/Delete ANY/ALL
duplicated items (and/or items with yellow exclamation/question marks)

Throw-off any 'recently installed' hardware (or software) - i.e anything
that generally coincides with the time that the error started to appear.

Re-boot into Normal Mode and see if things improve.

Good to hear your system's now running, BK.

Were you able to determine what piece of hardware/software had actually
caused the enumeration (detection) errors. It would have been useful to
know, if you had. But more importantly - it's now fixed g

Thanks for the feedback

Mart

What is the EXACT wording of your error message?
What changes have you made to the system lately?
When does the error message appear?

Default ERROR:OE:0028:C02C29AD

This error appears to be related to the drivers for a D-Link unit
I would boot to Safe Mode, and remove ALL entries for D-Link hardware in
Device Manager, and reboot to Normal Mode
This should force a reinstall of the drivers.

If this doesn't fix it, it's quite possible that your firewall is causing
the problem (let me guess - Zone Alarm?) - in which case (assuming you're
behind a router) you should uninstall the firewall completely before
proceeding to attempt further work on the system.

How are you networking? what is the IP you are getting from the DHCP server?
(is the server the other machine, or a router - what is the OS of the other
machine?)

You mentioned that you are trying to link thru' a wireless router. As Noel
has alluded, PRISMA02 seems to be related to D-Link products - a Wireless
D-Link DWL-120 USB Adapter, perhaps?

Have you ever managed to get the wireless adapter to work (or even install)
on this machine before or has this report only occurred since trying to
install your adapter? Noel's suggestion of 'completely' removing the device
and starting over again is likely to be the only way forward. BUT...

I'm sure that Noel will have further comments regarding NAV and I'll leave
those to him g
