computer keeps beeping
W98. Person noticed memory only showing 32 instead of 64.
Took out memory & reinserted. Now when hit power button, it won't stop beeping & nothing will come up on the monitor. Tried putting in each memory stick by itself in different slots, but didn't help. They are being properly seated. Any suggestions? |

The memory may be bad. The user may have "zapped" the memory modules with his
body's static electricity when removing them. Have the RAM checked at a shop with a RAM tester. -- Glen Ventura, MS MVP W95/98 Systems http://dts-l.org/goodpost.htm "tls" wrote in message ... W98.
