Existing NDIS2 problem
Hello,
I have browsed the messages already posted and did not see an answer, so here is my problem: I have two computers, one running XP and one running Win98SE. I have them connected to a router with a cable connection. I have had this setup for a few years now and it has worked flawlessly. Recently I disconnected the router from one of the computers. I reconnected it last week and while the router says it is communicating with both computers, the sub connection (Win98SE computer) cannot access the Internet. I checked Device Manager and the Existing NDIS2 has an exclamation point next to it. Last week I was able to use my Windows CD to reinstall this and it worked fine. Now, no matter what I do it will not remove the exclamation point and I still cannot connect to the Internet with that computer. I have tried using my Win98SE Cd, I have tried using CABS, I have tried removing it and reinstalling it every way, but nothing seems to work. I also made another setup disk from my computer (XP) and ran that, but it didn't fix it either. Is there somewhere to download a more current driver for this? Any help or direction will be greatly appreciated. SapphireBlue (o: |

Existing NDIS2 problem
The NDIS driver is a driver that Win9x uses during upgrades when it can't
figure out what the device actually is, and thus can't figure out what the proper driver needed is. Delete this entry, then try installing the proper driver for your hardware.
