Help needed: Intermittent internet
Setup:
Dell computer Windows 98SE Cable modem Netgear MR814 router running NAT and DHCP Kingston 10/100 NIC Windows 98 Internet settings set to Auto Problem: The computer loses internet connection after 10-15 minutes, many times daily. A reboot each time fixes the problem. When the internet fails the computer retains its IP address and I can ping the router and the outside world. Seems to be a DNS issue with the 98 installation. (??) How can I repair? thank you, JM
