error message: unavailable status...HELP!!!!!
The first thing to try is to go to Control Panel, Add/remove programs and
remove the scanner software. Once you have done this, double-check the installation instructions as to whether you should have it plugged in or not when you install the software and then reinstall it per the instructions from the manufacturer. Often, you are instructed not to have the scanner plugged in when installing the software until you are instructed to connect it. If this doesn't help, please provide the make and model of the device. PattyL "sarah" wrote in message ... I have a new scanner/printer. I installed software and the printer is working beautifully. error message: unavailable status...HELP!!!!!
Thanks for replying...the printer/scanner is a Canon
MP360. I have installed, removed, re-installed several times. From the beginning, the printer worked, the scanner gave me an error message "status unavailable". I have tried several different USB cables, perhaps there is a communication problem with my USB program??? But I do not know how to troubleshoot the status of the USB program in my computer. PLease Help!!! -----Original Message----- The first thing to try is to go to Control Panel, Add/remove programs and remove the scanner software.
