Default HELP Can't Install USB Flash

I can't install my USB Flash (Kingston Data Traveler II
Plus 256 MB). As I was trying to install, Windows ME asked
me for a file called USBNTMAP.SYS. Unfortunately I have
lost my installation disk. Could I get that file from the
web or any sources. I have been searching inside the
Windows web site and can't find it. PLEASE HELP.

A fresh copy of USBNTMAP.SYS can be found in the \win9x\BASE2.CAB on the
WinMe CD (Which you don't have g) - and/or in the same cab on your C:
drive, in the Windows\Options\Instal or CABS folder.

When the installation asks for USBNTMAP.SYS, just navigate to the
Windows\Options\Instal or CABS folder and it should continue to install.

What if I can't find it there?

I am having the exact same problem and when I direct the install process to
those two different locations it still cannot find the specified file. Is
there a location that I can download this driver at?

As Mart has said.

Look for the file BASE2.CAB, Then when the installer asks for
usbntmap.sys or any other system file point it at the folder containing
base2.cab and the installer will extract the necessary files.

If you can't find BASE2.CAB and don't have a Win Me CD then you are
probably SOL.
