Default Can't open picture files

I get an error message, "this file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action", everytime I try to open a bimap or jpeg picture. All the icons have changed on the picture files also, and I have been unable to change them back.. I have gone into My Computer, View, folder options, to file types and tried to change things there but nothing seems to work. It also shows different icons on the picture files I have on floppy disks when I try to view them and I get the same error message. Any help would be appreciated...... Tap

The easiest thing may be to use a new picture viewer which will do all
the associations for you.

IrfanView - Freeware Graphic Viewer:

Thanks Alan,
Took your advice and installed the new picture viewer from IrfanView, works great.
