Default IRQ Problem?

I have a VAMP-WM15M monitor.

Our assembly test guys run programs in windows and in DOS. We have found
that when they ALT + TAB from the windows desktop to the DOS program that
sometimes the monitor freezes up. It either comes up with a distorted view of
the program and if you ALT + TAB back and forth a few times the screen might
come up normal or it will come up black and you can not ALT + TAB out of it.
I have been told that it might have something to do with switching from
standard VGA mode to Super VGA mode. I must unplug the monitor cable from the
computer for a few seconds and then plug it back in. Sometimes two or three
times to get the monitor back to normal. When I unplug this monitor and plug
in an external monitor I do not get this issue.

I was checking some IRQ settings in the device manager and found that I have
two items set to IRQ 5.

1. Under system devices I have
Intel 82801BA/BAM SMBus Controller - 2443

2. Under Display Adapters I have
ATI Mobility Radeon

Could this be causing my problem? If so what should I change? If not any
other ideas?

Could this be what is causing my problem?
