Default scandisk want to run a surface scan at almost every boot

Friday Morn

During bootup scandisk informs me of need to run a thorough suface scan.

I sometimes let it do this: takes nearly 3 hours.

And after a couple of boots, it wants to do it again.

Nothing is wrong with the drives.

How do I manually reset the scandisk flag?

J
