Changed display font, but won't save on shut down
I changed the display font under Control Panel - Display - Appearance. It
works only so long as the PC is not rebooted. Seems like my PC cannot record the change on shutdown. After rebooting, the relevant 'font' fields are shown as blank and I have to select my fonts again. Can any helpful experts offer any hints. |

I suggest that you first use the Msconfig.exe utility to disable all items
on the Startup tab. Once you have done that, exit Windows and restart and then try changing the font then exit and restart. There may be something loading at Startup that is preventing your change from being saved when you shutdown. Once the font is changed, be sure to run the Msconfig utility again to re-enable the items loading at startup. PattyL "sqtt" wrote in message ...
